A joke about Fichte
Two German society ladies are talking about Fichte’s philosophy. “You
know he denies the existence of everything outside him,” says one, somewhat conspiratorially.
“Really?” says the other. “Even his wife?”
“I believe so,” replies the first.”
“And she puts up with this?!”
